What I want to Learn in Life.
By. Geoff Gray
There are many things I could still learn in life, and am striving to learn. For example, the automotive field has seen many changes in the last couple decades, such as fuel injection, computers, modules for everything. The vehicles today are more powerful, get better fuel mileage, and handle much better. Some of the things I would like to learn about are how the PCM works in the vehicle (the computer). How inducing loads of air, and fuel into the combustion chamber, produces more power. On top of learning about the vehicles, and thriving to become a successful engine builder, there are still things that most people would consider to have been already learned as an adult. I would like to learn how to tolerate some people and accept them for who they are. For example, I am from western New York, raised in a small rural farming community, and often, because of being around the same types of people all the time. I have been around a little bit, and have met plenty of different types of people, and for the most part I am tolerable, but at times I can feel anxiety getting the best of me.
I would also like to learn how to have more patience with others. I have a hard time dealing with ignorant people, or people who think they are better than others. I believe we are all equal, and I don't believe that ones status should be determined on how much money he has, what clothes he is wearing, or how expensive his car is. If we were to go back primitive days, all these things would not matter, you would be judged for what you contributed to the tribe, and it seems society today has forgotten all about that. I believe I get along with everybody, or atleast try to, regardless of what your (social status) is, but it is the ones who judge others because they feel they are better than others are the ones I have a hard time dealing with. I know it is in me to be more open minded, and to accept them for who they are, no matter what, but it is a hard thing for me to do, and I am still trying to learn that.
This concludes what I want to learn in life, there is plenty more I would like to learn, but honestly, you don't want to read about me learning about motors, and computers, or how electrical signals are being sent into struts to improve the ride in you vehicle.
